Persepsi Mahasiswa Tentang Konsep Pro Lingkungan dalam Bertransportasi

Abstract

Sustainable development is concept to fulfill the long-term needs. A lots of action is required  to maintain the environmental sustainibility. One of the implementation is start from understanding the pro environment concept. This study was conducted to know the student’s perception of pro environment concept, analyze the factor that influenced perception, and determine the correspondence between perception of pro environment concept and the actions.  The data used in this study are primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to students at Parahyangan Catholic University. The questionnaire was distributed online and produced 252 samples used for further analysis. The data analysis used the ordinal logistic regression modeling and chi-square test. The form of pro-environmental student perception is indicated by environmental activism activities and the use of active transportation. The diversity of perception is only significantly influenced by the gender. And, the student perceptions of pro environment concept is suitable with their actions.
