Kajian Pengembangan Stasiun Kereta Api Bandung Sebagai Stasiun Terpadu Dalam Rangka Meningkatkan Integrasi Antarmoda

Abstract

Bandung Railway Station provides various feeder modes to serve train passengers to their final destination from the station or vice versa. Unfortunately, integration between trains and feeder modes has not been optimal in serving passenger mode changes. This research was conducted to evaluate intermodal integration at Bandung Railway Station which was assessed based on the walkability of passengers, then examine whether this station could be developed with integrated station concept. Using Modal Interaction Matrix, data from passenger assessment questionnaire results regarding intermodal integration were analyzed. The analysis result shows that several aspects of intermodal integration are poor, so a redesigned Bandung Railway Station with integrated station concept is suggested which includes layout design, mapping of wayfinding system, and mapping of supporting facilities for passengers with special needs. Study shows that the suggested redesign with integrated station concept has succeeded in improving intermodal integration performance at Bandung Railway Station.
