Abstract

Bandung, as a rapidly growing metropolitan city, is faced with increasingly complex congestion problems. Uncontrolled population growth and number of vehicles, accompanied by inadequate road infrastructure, ineffective traffic regulation, and lack of road user discipline, are the main factors causing congestion. This research focuses on congestion analysis at the intersection of Jl. Pasirkoja - Jl. Astanaanyar - Jl. Kalipah Apo - Jl. Pagarsih, which is located in a densely populated area, schools, shops, and houses of worship. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with results showing the maximum queue length of 120.12 meters at intersection 2 for vehicle movements from Jl. Astanaanyar (U) to Jl. Pagarsih and a maximum delay of 73.2 seconds at intersection 2 for vehicle movements from Jl. Astanaanyar (U) to Jl. Pagarsih. The average level of service (LOS) at intersection 1 is in the C-E range with an average at level D. While the level of service at intersection 2 is in the C-E range with an average at level D.
