Abstract

Mount Bromo tourism is one of the destinations for local and foreign tourists. Safe and secure traffic access is one of the supports for tourism. Safe roads are an important part of creating safe roads. This study aims to identify road sections that do not comply with general regulations so that they can be improved in accordance with applicable needs and regulations. This research was conducted on the Jalan Raya Bromo section. Functional feasibility analysis is carried out by measuring field results which are then followed by looking for deficiency values based on applicable technical standards. The results of the analysis obtained road parts that have a level of feasibility other than functionally feasible in (1) road shoulders, (2) road lane width, (3) provision of traffic signs, (4) crossing places, (5) road markings, (6) procurement of street lights, (7) controlling the number of access plots, (8) road pavement. Treatment priorities can be carried out according to the serial number results in the analysis results that have been mentioned.
