Studi Perilaku Keselamatan Berkendara pada Pengendara Sepeda Motor di Kota Palu (Simpang Tak Bersinyal)

Driving safety is an integral part of the prevention measures for a tragic traffic accident. The purpose of this study is to find out the behavior, the level of classification and the percentage of driving safety in motorcyclists in Palu City. Data collection is carried out using the analytical method that uses quantitative descriptive analysis. Following the data processing, the results were obtained for the safety behavior of drivers on the three sideways (major to minor) with the highest number of safety behaviour when drivers do not turn on the indicator lights (42.6%), whereas on the third sidewalk (mayor to minor), with the lowest amount of safety conduct occurring while drivers chat while driving (2.4%). On the third side of the road (minor to major) with the highest number of safety behavior occurs when the driver does not turn on the indicator lights when turning (48.4%), while on the three side (minder to major), with the least number of security behaviour occurs while the driver talks while driving (3.0%).
