Abstract

Semarang City has a BSB industrial area where trucks or freight transportation vehicles pass through the Prof. Hamka road to get to the city. This road section is one of the accident-prone areas, where there were 72 accidents during the 2018-2022 range. This study aims to get recommendations that can reduce the number of accidents on the road section and find out the factors that cause accidents using the EAN, UCL, and Z-Score methods to determine accident-prone areas, Primary data is obtained from road inventory surveys and spot speed surveys while secondary data is obtained from police data. From the data, an analysis was carried out to obtain the factors that caused the accident which would then be carried out an inventory regarding road equipment that was still lacking on the road section.
