The results of investigations conducted by the KNKT show that there are still many vehicle accidents caused by braking system failures due to poor brake fluid quality. This research aims to develop an IoT (Internet of Things) based device that can detect and monitor the quality of brake fluid, including its moisture content, temperature, and volume to improve driving safety and prevent brake failure events. The research method used is an experimental method using DOT3 brake fluid. The analyzed data is displayed through an I2C LCD and RGB LED and sent to the Blynk application for real-time reporting to the driver. The test results show that this tool works well, marked by test results that show the effectiveness of the soil moisture sensor by 97.50%, DS18B20 temperature sensor by 92.60%, and HC- SR04T proximity sensor by 93.60% in detecting brake fluid conditions. It is hoped that this device can warn the driver so that the risk of brake failure can be reduced and driving safety can be increased.
