Analisis Model Bangkitan Perjalanan Penumpang dengan Tujuan Perjalanan Bekerja: Studi Kasus Kabupaten Administrasi Kepulauan Seribu

Indonesia's reliance on sea transportation for inter-island connectivity underscores the importance of the Kepulauan Seribu Administrative District in boosting travel, economic growth, and meeting transportation needs. This research focused on estimation of sea passenger demand trips with various work purposes, including the as entrepreneurs, fishermen, teachers, health, private and civil sector workers. Using linear regression, the research analyzes travel patterns and factors influencing passenger trips. Data from a cross-sectional survey were used to develop and analyse a mathematical model. Through statistical methods of Linear Regression inference, Correlation and Significance Test, Determination Coefficient Test, Distribution Hypothesis Test, and Classical Assumption Test, a feasible model is obtained, and the best model is determined through data validation to adjust the prediction model using RMSE accuracy. The results in this study reveal the factors that affect the generation of passenger trips, namely the number of working family members and the number of male family members for Trip Production, and the number of office employees for Trip Attraction. The best linear regression model for Trip Production is with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.357. Meanwhile, Trip Attraction is with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.995.
